Description : The Hunters Star - I sewed diamond points to create the center of the block, then created arrow-like shapes in the orners. I used purple, navy, sunny yellow and white fabrics. I echo stitched the points to emphasize the geometry of the star. Then I free motioned the larger areas to add contrast to the sharper points of the Hunters Star block.

Description : I used red, white, and blue solid fabrics for some of the strips. I used red, white, and blue star fabric for some of the strips, then also used red and white striped fabric for some of the strips to create the Rail Fence. I added an embroidered rectangle in the center to emphasize the Rooted in Tradition theme of the instructions.
